The Southside Turkey Trot is more than a race. It’s:

• A way to give back: every step supports our Southside charity partners.

 

Whether you’re chasing a PR, jogging with the kids or walking, you’ll finish with a smile.

 

The Southside Turkey Trot will take place on Thanksgiving Morning (Nov. 27, 2025) at a premier Southside venue. We’re working with Clayton County Parks & Recreation to finalize International Park as our home. Stay tuned for the official course reveal!

1 Mile Run/Walk Early Bird: $15 (1 Mile is NOT timed)

7:00-7:55 Registration/Packet Pickup

7:30 1 Mile Run/Walk Starts

7:45 Opening Ceremony & Warm up for 5K

8:00 5K Run/Walk Start

8:45 Award Ceremony

8:00 -10:00 Race Celebration

 

Finishers will receive a T-Shirt and Finisher’s medal

 

Award Categories (5K Only): Overall Male and Female.  Then Top 3 Male and Female - 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

This Thanksgiving, every step you take helps put food on the table for families in our community. A portion of every registration supports Atlanta Community Food Bank, providing holiday meals where they’re needed most. Bring canned goods to packet pickup or race morning to make an even bigger impact. Together, we can ensure no neighbor goes hungry on Thanksgiving.
